Kindergarten Kid, Issue 5

This week in History we made African sock monkeys. This is the kind of toy that a kid in Africa might have played with during the time of the Pharoahs in the Middle Kingdom of Africa.

Here is how to do it:
1. put dried peas in a sock

2. tie the botum of sock
3. glue on a face, arms, and legs, and a tail 4. give them names

"Ooh" and "Ahh" (named after the Disney monkeys)

Oooh may be my favorite. But Ahh certainly has a winning smile. Tough to pick!
